Romy B. Jurado, Esq.

I moved from Peru to the United States to pursue my dream of becoming an attorney for a wide variety of clients in different areas such as real estate, immigration, business, litigation, estate planning and probate cases.

I earned my Juris Doctor degree from the Florida International University College of Law in 2011, which was the start of my career as an attorney. I am fluent in English and Spanish, which means I can help a large variety of clients by putting law in simple terms.

During my time in law school, I also served as a Federal judicial intern to the Honorable William M. Hoeveler at the U.S. District Court in Miami, an experience that embarked my career and allowed me to build up my skills and knowledge.

After graduating, I started working at Marko & Magolnick in their business law department, attending a wide variety of transactions. After that, I worked representing banks in the litigation department at McCalla Raymer, managing cases from title examination and insurance until assistance in buying properties in Florida.

Nowadays I am proud to support non-profit projects such as Cristinaā€™s Academy a 501C3 non-profit as their President where I am part of a group that raises funds to help kids of low income families get access to education. Furthermore, I am also the Vice President of the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce where we help business owners grow their business through networking and education.

I strongly believe that the results are measured according to client satisfaction, and I am glad to have been named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. An achievement that certifies my level of professionalism and performance to help you, because my business is your success.

In 2019 I was awarded Best Residential Educator by the Miami Association of Realtors and in 2023 I was awarded Best Educator by the Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors. I am also the proud author of ā€œStarting a Business in the United States as a Foreignerā€ an online business guide. I believe education is key to success, that is why I am constantly being part of different speaking engagements.
